The Process of "Processing"

 Mental health therapy is the umbrella term for behavioral therapy, which focuses more on our actions, and talk therapy, which addresses experiences, thoughts, and emotions. Our sessions will involve a tailored combination of both based on your therapy goals.

We start with the intake session, where you and I will meet to discuss your current needs and your history, and get you oriented to how your therapy experience may look moving forward. I highly suggest also scheduling a free phone consultation prior to meeting for your intake so we can talk through logistical questions and see if we would be a good fit to work together.

Follow up sessions are where clients and I spend time processing past and current issues, as well as developing coping skills and possibly short term goals. This is where the change really happens. I will use a range of approaches outside of somatic or mindfulness work to suit your needs. This includes re-establishing your values, building insight into limiting subconscious beliefs, and addressing the language in your narratives about yourself and the world.

A Note for New Clients:
Choosing a therapist who is the right fit for you and your goals can be a process.  I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation for new clients who are considering therapy and working with me.  There is no commitment or expectation. Request a time above and let's talk!

All sessions are held virtually, through video or phone.

Session Rates:
New client intake (75 min.) - $200.00
Individual follow up appointment (50 min.) - $150.00
Couples therapy follow up (50 min.) - $180.00
​Individual or Couples "check in" appointment (30 min.) - $100.00

​Payment Methods:
Debit or credit card, FSA and HSA cards, Venmo or Zelle.

​Insurance:
I do not accept insurance at this time, but can provide clients with a superbill that the client can submit for insurance reimbursement.  A superbill is a specific invoice of services that were paid for out of pocket by the client, designed for insurance claims.  If you are interested in this, please contact your insurance provider directly to understand their process of reimbursement.
