What to Expect in Therapy...

Mental health therapy is the umbrella term for behavioral therapy, which focuses more on our actions, and talk therapy, which addresses experiences, thoughts, and emotions. Our sessions will involve a tailored combination of both based on your therapy goals.

Clients and I often spend time processing past and current issues, as well as developing skills. Sessions may include re-establishing your values, using metaphors or affirmations for self-regulation, and building insight into your limiting subconscious beliefs that hold you back from your potential.

By using mindfulness as a home base in therapy, my goal is to help clients integrate nonjudgmental thinking and awareness into daily life. Being mindful can be done through actions like deep breathing, but a core principle of mindfulness is letting go of judgement or expectation and focusing on things that really matter.

If you were able to do this more often, how would things be different?

Follow up appointment (30 min.) - $80.00

Debit or credit card, FSA and HSA cards, Venmo or Zelle.

Insurance:
Erica does not accept insurance at this time, but can provide clients with a superbill that the client can submit for insurance reimbursement.  A superbill is a specific invoice of services that were paid for out of pocket by the client, designed for insurance claims.  If you are interested in this, please contact your insurance provider directly to understand their process of reimbursement.

Sliding Scale:

As a part of the wellness and healthcare industry, I am committed to doing my part to advocate for fairness and equality.  Every person regardless of race, ethnicity, body type, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, and income is deserving of mental health care.  If you are interested in working together and are concerned about affordability, please contact me directly about payment options and sliding scale rates.
Starting April 2023, I will be seeing clients virtually and in person at my office in Philadelphia.
For teletherapy, I use SimplePractice, a HIPAA compliant video platform.  Phone sessions are also available if that is preferable.

Clients must reside in either Pennsylvania or Maryland.

Office Hours:

Monday through Thursday: 8:00am to 6:30pm
Friday: 8:00am to 4:00pm

In person appointments are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
